Stage 2 downtown line rail network impact value of Freehold Properties along Bt timah, Hillview, Cashew,..

Though desired for their freehold tenure and accessibility to the many elite schools in Singapore, private properties along Bt Timah, Hillivew, Cashew and the like have been sufferring poor rental yield due to their lack of accessibility to public transportation. With the eventual completion of the stage 2 Downtown MRT line in 2015, this may change dramatically, making these freehold properties all the more attractive to property buyers.
